Imagine a place where your children will not want to go home, where they will have a tantrum because they want to take home the baby goat they saw in their holiday village. Imagine a family picnic in the Valley of Canada, possibly one of the most silent valleys in Portugal, situated only 10 minutes on foot from the hotel, 'Cooking and Nature'. Imagine a playroom just for the children on rainy days (the Green Woodpecker Room), filled with educational and imaginative games where they can roll around and shout and where adults are forbidden to enter. On sunny days they can dive into the children's swimming pool, run through the woods, climb walls and go on bicycle rides along the safe country paths of the Alvados valley. They will probably return to the hotel with skinned knees at the end of the day but also a whirlwind of new emotions and experiences and ready for a good nights sleep. We also have baby chairs which are adaptable for the bicycles and we can provide many other baby requirements such as fruit purées and soups.
