Flavour
Why are we called 'Cooking and Nature'?
Because our guests can choose between a traditional service or a cooking lesson.
We want our guests to taste our dishes using seasonal products from our region and herbs from our herb garden.
Whether you come for the romantic setting, with a group of friends or for a business meeting or team-building session with work colleagues, we are here to serve you one of our botanic cocktails.
We will have seasonal menus on offer and cooking demonstrations by guest chefs.
Together we will sample wines, cheeses and olive oils and make home-made Alvados bread. The children can take part too.
Who washes the dishes?
Imagine a Kitchen which can be both romantic and intimate (Lover's Zone) on one hand and relaxed and fun (Friends Zone) on the other. Imagine that when you make your reservation on the 'Cooking and Nature' website, you can also choose which dishes you would like to cook from the selection of our chef, Nuno Barros*.
When you arrive, all the ingredients will be ready and you can let your imagination run wild as you prepare an unforgettable meal for someone special while you taste the wine of your choice. Of course, it is we who wash the dishes and tidy the kitchen and you will have at your disposal an assistant whenever you need one.
*With contemporary cooking based on Portuguese roots, the cuisine of our chef, Nuno Barros, prides itself on using the best national products, seasonal and biological ingredients from small local suppliers and on promoting sustainability and fair trade.
